Terms of Service
1.Agreement
VibeShift runs a recurring series of one-day Claude Code workshops (each cohort, an “Event”). By registering for, purchasing a ticket to, or attending an Event, you (“you” or “attendee”) agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The Terms apply to the specific Event for which you registered. If you do not agree, do not register or attend.
You must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must register on your behalf and accept these Terms.
2.Tickets and Registration
All ticket purchases are subject to availability. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information. Tickets are non-transferable unless we expressly permit it in writing.
VibeShift reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who violates these Terms, behaves in a disruptive or harmful manner, or misrepresents their registration information.
3.Refunds and Cancellations
Attendee cancellations: Tickets are non-refundable after purchase unless the Event is canceled or rescheduled by VibeShift, except for the courtesy described below.
Courtesy half-refund for L&D-denied reimbursements: If you intended to expense the workshop through your employer’s learning-and-development budget and your employer declines to reimburse, you may request a 50% refund of your ticket price by emailing hello@vibeshift.camp within 30 days of the Event. We will process the refund at our sole discretion. This courtesy does not change the otherwise non-refundable nature of the ticket and does not apply to cancellations made for any other reason.
Event cancellation by VibeShift: If we cancel the Event, you will receive a full refund of your ticket price within 30 days. We are not responsible for any other costs you may have incurred (travel, accommodation, etc.).
Event rescheduling: If we reschedule the Event, your ticket will be valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund within 14 days of the rescheduling announcement.
4.Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful experience for everyone. You agree to:
- Treat all attendees, staff, and speakers with respect
- Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or threatening behavior of any kind
- Not use the Event to solicit, spam, or promote services without prior written approval
- Comply with the venue’s rules and all applicable laws
VibeShift reserves the right to remove any attendee who violates this Code of Conduct without refund.
5.Photography, Video, and Media
By attending the Event, you acknowledge that photography, audio recording, and video recording may take place. You grant VibeShift a perpetual, royalty-free license to use your image, voice, and likeness captured at the Event for promotional, marketing, and editorial purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in media, please notify us in writing at hello@vibeshift.camp before the Event.
You may not record or photograph speakers, performances, or presentations for commercial distribution without prior written consent from VibeShift.
6.Intellectual Property
All content presented at the Event — including presentations, performances, branding, and materials — is the property of VibeShift or its respective creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any Event content without express written permission.
7.Third-Party Services
The Event may involve third-party ticketing platforms, payment processors, or venue services. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. VibeShift is not responsible for the actions or failures of third-party services.
8.Disclaimer of Warranties
The Event is provided “as is.” VibeShift makes no guarantees about the uninterrupted delivery of the Event, the availability of specific speakers or performers, or any particular outcome from attending. Speakers, performers, and programming are subject to change without notice.
9.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VibeShift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your attendance at or inability to attend the Event. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the ticket price you paid.
You attend the Event at your own risk. VibeShift is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
10.Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VibeShift from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your conduct at the Event.
11.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
12.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or on our website. Continued attendance or ticket holding after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
