Privacy Policy
1.Overview
VibeShift (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By registering for or attending an Event, you agree to this policy.
2.Information We Collect
When you register, we collect:
- Contact information: your full name and email address.
- Optional company name: if you provide it, so the Stripe invoice can include it for L&D records.
- Attendance preference: in-person or remote via video (collected for paid cohorts only).
- Payment information: handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- Communications: any messages you send us.
Before the Event, we may ask for additional logistics by email — for example, dietary restrictions or accessibility needs. Providing this information is optional.
At the Event, we may collect:
- Photographs and video: captured during the workshop for promotional and editorial use (see Terms of Service §5 for the license you grant and how to opt out).
- Check-in data: for attendance tracking and safety purposes.
3.How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process your registration and ticket purchase
- Send you Event-related communications (confirmations, updates, logistics)
- Manage Event operations and safety
- Send post-event follow-ups or surveys
- Promote future VibeShift events and content (you can opt out at any time)
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4.Sharing Your Information
We may share your information with:
- Stripe — handles payment processing and sends your invoice email. Stripe receives your name, email, optional company, and a reference to the workshop you signed up for. Their handling of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — hosts vibeshift.camp, provides edge security, and delivers our transactional confirmation emails. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP address, browser fingerprint signals) as part of bot defense. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or court order.
- Business transfers — if VibeShift is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5.Communications and Marketing
By registering, you agree to receive transactional communications about the Event you registered for (confirmation, invoice, logistics). With your consent, we may also send marketing communications about future VibeShift events.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email or by contacting us at hello@vibeshift.camp.
6.Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).
7.Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your personal information (subject to certain legal exceptions)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Data portability: receive a copy of your data in a structured format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@vibeshift.camp.
8.Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses a small set of cookies, all set by Cloudflare for security purposes:
cf_clearance— set when you complete Cloudflare’s automated security check on the signup page. It lets us trust your subsequent form submission without re-challenging.__cf_bm— short-lived bot-management identifier used by Cloudflare to distinguish humans from automated traffic.
We do not set first-party analytics or marketing cookies, and we do not use third-party trackers. You can clear or block these cookies via your browser, but doing so may break the signup form (Cloudflare will challenge every request).
9.Third-Party Services
Our website and ticketing process may link to or integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., ticketing services, payment processors, social media). This Privacy Policy does not cover those third parties — please review their own privacy policies.
10.Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
11.Children’s Privacy
The Event is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 without verified parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.
12.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or posted on our website. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
